What we do

Four kinds of visit, each with a clear scope

Not sure which one you need? Describe the symptom in the booking form and we will tell you before the visit, not after.

Routine servicing

The maintenance visit that keeps a healthy unit healthy and quiet.

  • Filters washed and dried
  • Coil and fan inspection
  • Drainage flush and test
  • Refrigerant pressure check

Chemical wash

For units that smell, drip, or never quite cool the room any more.

  • Blower barrel deep clean
  • Evaporator coil treatment
  • Tray and drain line clearing
  • Casing wiped and refitted

Fault diagnostics

Error codes, tripping breakers, warm air, rattles and short cycling.

  • Electrical and sensor testing
  • Leak trace where suspected
  • Repair options priced first
  • Honest replace-or-repair advice

Install & relocation

New units sized to the room, or an existing unit moved cleanly.

  • On-site sizing and placement
  • Tidy pipe and drain routing
  • Brackets set and levelled
  • Commissioning and handover
How the visit works

Three steps, and none of them is waiting all day

Booking a tradesperson should not feel like a gamble. Here is exactly what happens between your request and a working unit.

01

Tell us the symptom

Send the form with your property type, how many units, and what the unit is doing wrong. We reply with the likely scope of work and what it depends on.

02

Pick a confirmed window

We offer arrival windows rather than whole days, confirm the technician by name, and send a short message when they set off.

03

Tested, tidied, signed off

Sheeting down before work starts, the unit run and temperature-tested after, and a written summary of what was cleaned, replaced or flagged for next time.

Our standards

The small things that decide whether you call us again

Air conditioning work happens in your living room, above your bed, or over a desk someone is trying to work at. We treat the visit as carefully as the repair.

  • Protected surfaces, every time Sheeting and catch trays go down before a panel comes off, and the space is left as we found it.
  • Nothing fitted without a yes If a part needs replacing we show you the failure, give the price, and wait for your decision.
  • A record you can keep Every visit ends with a plain-language summary, useful for strata, landlords or your own files.
  • Advice that can cost us the job If a unit is better replaced than repaired, or simply needs a filter rinse you can do yourself, we say so.
Care plans

Book one visit, or hand the whole thing over

Plans are quoted after we see the units, so the tier only describes what is covered — never a number pulled out of the air.

Between visits

You still own the easy half

Most cooling complaints start with something simple. Rinse the filters monthly in dusty months, keep half a metre clear around the outdoor unit, and run the fan for ten minutes after cooling to dry the coil. Do that and our visit is mostly confirmation — which is exactly how it should feel.

If the room stops holding temperature, the unit drips, or a new noise appears, that is the point to stop experimenting and send us a message.

Questions

Answers before you book

How often should a unit be serviced?
For a home unit used seasonally, once a year is usually enough. Units running most days, in dusty areas, or in a kitchen or workshop do better on two visits a year.
How long does a visit take?
A routine service on a single split unit is typically under an hour. A chemical wash takes longer because the blower and coil are cleaned in place and the casing has to dry before refitting.
The unit smells musty when it starts. Is that fixable?
Nearly always. That smell is usually biofilm on the blower barrel and coil, which a filter rinse cannot reach. A chemical wash is the right call, and we will tell you if it is something else.
Do you handle strata or landlord approvals?
We cannot give approval on anyone’s behalf, but every visit ends with a written summary and, for installs, a scope of works you can forward to a building manager or owner.
Which areas do you cover?
We work across the city and its inner suburbs. Send your suburb with the booking request and we will confirm coverage in the reply before anything is scheduled.

Tell us what the unit is doing

Send the details and we reply with the likely scope, an arrival window and the technician’s name. Nothing is scheduled until you confirm.

  • A reply, not a queue ticket Written by the person who will schedule the visit.
  • Scope agreed in writing You know the work and the cost basis before we arrive.

We use these details only to answer your request and arrange the visit.
